We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven Live in CareGivers/Support Workers in the Aberdeenshire to join our growing Homecare Scotland family and support a new client in Aboyne.
We are looking for two live in carers and two local home carers to work12 hour day shifts to assist.
Thisrole would also suit Healthcare Assistants, Care Assistants, Support Workers, Homecare Workers, Home Care & Community Carers.
A UK drivers license & access to your own vehicle is essential.
Our Client
- Our client is an older gentleman who has recovered from a lengthy hospital stay. He has been discharged to a care home but would prefer to live in his own home and is preparing to make that transition. The client requires support with his mobility, he is a wheelchair user and requires mobility aids in the house. Catheter care is also required for this role.
Responsibilities:
You would be supporting clients with their morning routine, daily living skills, personal care and evening routine, coupled with some domestic responsibilities.
Support may be required in:
- Providing personal care; washing, dressing, food preparation, shopping, hospital visits, activities, moving and handling, medication administration and more.
- Identifying needs and assisting with these.
- Improve the service user's quality of life, and promote independence
- Live in care experience is required.
- The Caregiver must have experience using mobility aids, including hoists
- The Caregiver must have catheter care experience
- Warm, friendly, and motivated individual
- Have a team player attitude while showing empathy and understanding in demanding situations.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Commitment to providing the highest quality care.
- A UK driver's license and access to a car is essential.

· £945/week TBC ( confirmed once start date agreed)
