We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven Complex Care Support Caregivers to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.
Our Client
A young woman living with Spina Bifida in South East Glasgow. She lives with her family in a fully adapted home including hoists. She is a wheelchair and has her own transport which she uses on a daily basis for her active social life. She enjoying social outings, shopping, concerts, the gym and attending her part time job.
Care needs
· Support with social activities, outings and interests
· Assistance with all aspects of personal care
· Administration of medications
· Moving & Handling
· Passive Exercise
Shifts
08:00-1600
20:30-22:00
This is the shift pattern Monday to Saturday; you will beexpected to work 2 days per week.
Sunday shift is 09:00 till 11:00 and 20:30 till 22:00
If you are not able to commit to these hours, please still apply as we are looking for bank staff
Essential criteria
· Previous care experience
· Have a team player attitude while showing empathy and understanding in demanding situations
· A great sense of fun and humour, we value developing warm positive relationships with everyone we support
· Adaptive communication and ability to understand alternative methods of communication
· Due to client’s requirements, a full driving licence is essential for this role.
Homecare Scotland Benefits
· Hourly rate £12.50 during the weekdays and £14.00 during the weekends
· Permanent part-time employment contracts available (including up to 28 days annual leave & a company pension! These benefits are pro-rata for part-time contracts)
